The Baltimore Orioles re-sign Rich Rundles
The Orioles have re-signed 31-year old lefty reliever Rich Rundles to a minor league deal. Rundles pitched in 12 games (9 starts) in Independent and AAA-ball last year and he was 3-1 with a 2.80 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP. Rundles last pitched in the majors back in 2009 with the Cleveland Indians. Rundles has now pitched in 9 games (0 starts) in his first two years in the majors and he is 0-0 with a 1.50 ERA and a 1.67 WHIP. Rundles will be a big time longshot to win a job in the Orioles’ bullpen this spring.
