The Orioles have signed 30-year old righty reliever Manny Delcarmen to a minor league deal. He pitched in 39 games (2 starts) in AAA-ball for the Yankees last year and he was 3-5 with 3 saves, a 4.42 ERA and a 1.72 WHIP. He last pitched in the majors back in 2010 with the Red Sox and Rockies. Delcarmen has pitched in 298 games (0 starts) in his first six years in the majors and he is 11-8 with 3 saves, a 3.97 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. Delcarmen will get a shot to win a bullpen job with the O’s this spring.
