30-year old righty swinging SS J.J. Hardy had a rough April, but he has been making up for lost time.  Since May 1st, Hardy has played in 36 games in which he is 45 of 140 (.321 avg) with 18 runs scored, 10 homers and 24 RBIs.  Hardy has now played in 63 games for the Orioles overall this year and he is 66 of 244 (.270 avg, .794 OPS) with 27 runs scored, 13 homers and 39 RBIs.  Hardy’s bat has really jump-started the offense for the Orioles as of late.
