The Baltimore Orioles have claimed 26-year old lefty reliever Jed Bradley off of waivers from the Atlanta Braves. Bradley pitched in 6 games (0 starts) for the Braves in his first taste of the show this year and he was 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA and a 1.86 WHIP. He also pitched in 35 games (13 starts) in AA+AAA-ball for the Braves and Brewers this year in which he was 9-5 with a 3.09 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. Bradley has pitched in 141 games (77 starts) in his first five years in the minors and he is 31-34 with a 4.34 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP. This is just a case of the Orioles taking a chance on a young lefty pitcher with a big arm.
